QlikView Access Point grey out and doesn't show any login prompt

Hi

I have successfully installed and configured QlikView server 12 into a UAT server (Window 2012) with IIS and it's working properly.

Then I proceed to install QlikView server 12 into another server (production) with same settings and configurations. However I could not get the same result. Please see attached image. I suspect that the Javascript codes are somehow not working, but I note that this has been enabled in Internet Explorer 11.

Please help.

Thanks,

Eric

hello

for me, that means there are no Qlik applications installed (check the directory where .qvw should reside)

Some items to check:

  • Is the license valid?
  • Do all services appear green and "Running" in the QMC?
  • Is the authentication set up correctly according to your environment (NTFS or DMS)?
  • Do the applications' section access let you access?

Hi Miguel,

For valid license issue, I actually used the same license for the 2 production servers (old one running v11 and new one running v12). Is this the cause of above?

Thanks

Yes, it could well be. Check the QMC and see how the services are. You can use the same license in two different servers as long as one of them is down (like a failover setup). If two servers are running with the same license, one of them will keep running and the other, while the services will work, it will display unlicensed or similar messages in the QMC.

I'm having the same issue. Did you ever get this working?
