QlikView AccessPoint

Hi,

in our company we provide one QlikView AccessPoint to all users. Is there perhaps a possibility to create two or more AccessPoints - e.g. one for normal useres and another one for qv developers?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards Florian

We can create another access point and distribute the only to selected Distribution Resources.

If you are using Publisher, When you create a Distribution Task under Allowed Distribution Resources section you can selected to which access point you want to distribute the report.

For your purpose you don't have to have two access points. When distributing if you have security attached , users can see only those published for them. To group the report you can create categories.

To load balance,  We are publishing our report to two Access points on two different servers. Which is working really great

Hi Pergo

Thanks a lot for your help. Your recommendation to use different categories for reports is both easy to implement and helpful to differentiate between all-user reports and such only for developers. I would be glad if you would describe once more how to "have securitiy attached". Up to now we don't have a license for the publisher.
