QlikView Server in own domain connected to 2 other domains

Hi All,

In my daily job I'm a QlikView developer and designer.

However no I'm involved in a installation question.

This is not my specialty so I hope some of you can help me or point me in the wright direction.

Below are the questions of the customer.

1. There are two stores in two different countries with both there own domain (domain B and C). The QlikView Server will not be part of those domains

2. The QlikView Server will be in a different Domain (Domain A) and needs to fetch data from both domains (Domain B and C)

3. User in all domains (Domain A, B and C) will use QlikView

4. Between the 3 Domains (A,B and C) there will be no trusted relation.

Is the above possible?

Thank you all in advance

Re: QlikView Server in own domain connected to 2 other domains

What I also like to know if maybe for some features I need the Enterprise edition.

Now the customers would like to purchase the small business.

Thanks

Hi,

I think for this to work you need to have Enterprise edition of server.

Secondly user QlikView 11.2 sr7 or greater as it supports cross domain authentication.

Third you can create trust between three domains too.

Simple answer, no.

There needs to be trust between the domains for it to work

Hi,

Yes,  this can be done with SSO and headers. However, you will have to write your own authentication page.

Hi Bill,

As always thank you for your reply.

What I understand from your reaction that it is possible without a trusted relation ship?

This can be done with Single Sign On and headers. but for that I need to wright my own authentication page?
