QlikView on SUN

Hi,

We have a prospect who wants to install QlikView into a SUN hardware (Windows, not UNIX).

List of Windows supported SUN system:   http://www.oracle.com/us/products/servers-storage/servers/x86/overview/index.html

Is there any experiences with SUN systems?

Regards.

Christian.

Hi,

Not sure about SUN.

If it is hosted in SAN Qlikview can run without any problem.

If it is hosted on NAS or HNAS it will experiences issue as NAS is not supported by Qlik.

Thanks Ashfaq, but SUN are Servers, usually running Solaris OS. There aren't storage systems.

Since there are some SUN servers that support Windows OS I'd like to know if they are recommended ot not.

Hi,

If you install QlikView natively you should not have any issues, as long as the SUN Server you're using is fully compatible with the version of Windows OS you have installed,
