Qlikview Server Management and Administration

Hi Q-land

I've been given a server (at the moment its small), however I want to get things done right.

I have Zero experience with the server side, besides loading models and scheduling them, but the administration of the actual server is all new to me.

My training will start in a week or so for how to actually use the tools.

I am looking for a document of best practices and change process management re server. Does anyone have something like this.

For QlikView Server Admin I would strongly recommend formal classroom training.  Is that the training you refer to ?

Getting the hang of developing qvw's can be done using QV Desktop, sandboxed away from anything Live.  For QV Server if you learn as you go it is all too easy to end up in a right pickle and even system dead.  QV Server admin is something that skimping on training budget could well end up costing a lot more than any monies saved.
