Qvd Encrption !!!

Hi Friends,

My problem is this :-

If somebody who has access  to our machine takes or email the qvds with sensitive datas of my client to the competitor  who has Qlikview personel edition ,then the competitor company can load the qvds in the Qvw  and can see all my company datas ,right?

I want to avoid this by encrpting the qvds ,is there any solution for this?

you can also implement file or folder level securities . so user can't access qvd file.

there is no inbuilt functionality available to encrypt QVD .

Sunil is correct with his answer. The data that is in the QVD is in the Qlikview document and you would have the same problem if someone took that or if they exported the data to excel. No system is 100% save from this. Someone always has access to data at some level and can take it.
