Sending mail failure on reload fails in qmec

Hi all,

I have setup gmail smtp as server (qmec) (qlikview 10 )

https://smtp.gmail.com(also tried smtp.gmail.com)

port No 587 ( also tried 465)

use ananymous or distribution account

also in system-> setup-> distribution services- alert email -> my gmail id

but on sending test mail its show sending mail failure.

i dont know why its not working.

Please help me to know the reason why its whoing error

As stated in earlier reply to same question. QlikView does not support secure connection on the SMTP mail. Gmail requires it.
