Supporting Tasks menu on QMC SBE is missing

Hello Everybody,

Could you please let me know why the Supporting Tasks menu on my QMC for QV SBE Server is missing?

How to on/off it from the QMC?

I have no Publisher License Key, is that the problem?

Thanks,
Tai.

QlikView server without Publisher only supports one reload task per document. See the Reload options on the Documents tab. It does not matter if the QlikView server is SBE or Enterprise.

Publisher is required for additional tasks.

Hi

What version of Qlikview you use?

Support task is a feature from QlikView Publisher.

Thanks you for your information Daniel. It is clear now, I have no license for the Publisher.

Thanks,

Tai.

Hi Colin,

Thanks you for your reply.

Just want to have the related questions: Could we execute the Reload Task per document via EDX Trigger as we can do with the tasks was created by Supporting Tasks.

Look forward to you answers.

Thanks,

Tai.

Hi,

As I say earlier that Supporting Tasks and EDX triggers is a special feature with QlikView Publisher.

I don't think so it supports with QlikView Server only License.

EDX triggers can be used with or without Publisher.

In QMC (without Publisher license), select "On an external event" in the Reload schedule. Add a password if you want the source to authenticate before accepting an external event.
