Trigger an email through QVW (on failure) - Qlik Community

Hi

Could someone please help in acheiving this.

I am triggering QVW through windows task, So I can't monitor these QMC. So, my QVW should throw an email on failure.

pls suggest

No, you will have to use the QMC to send the emails.

Hi

I assume you are running a batch file from windows task scheduler. If so, get the Event ID on failure and create an on event task under the Trigger tab and under the Actions tab select action 'Send and email'.
