Unable to open QMC

Hi all,

We have installed QV Server version 11.20 on a virtual server 2008 with IIS7.

When we try to open QMC we get the message Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage and are not able to figure out why this is happening.

Does anyone have any tips on how to resolve this?

Hi Linda,

Looks like services are not running. Please follow below:

Go to Control Panel -> Administrative tools -> Services -> Start the qlikview services.

Hi,

After Instillation it is suggested to have a restart of server once.

Try by different browser then that of IE, check if it works with chrome or mozilla.

type services.msc in run and serach for qlikview related services and start.

else check wiether ur name in qlikview administrators group

Hi and thanks for your reply.

The server and the services has been restarted several times without that solving the issue.

When I try to start the service QlikView Distribution Service I get the following message: "Windows could not start the QlikView Distribution Service on Local Computer. Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly". Do you think this is causing the problem?

The server and services have been restarted several times but did not solve the problem. I've tried with Chrome and Firefox, but still have the same problem.

Where can I find an overview of the QlikView users?

Hi,

Try below in run command to start  load counter first.

lodctr /r              

Then start service.

Hi,

Make sure, Service account belong to administrator group and in turn it belong to local administrator of Qlikview server.
