Variable behaves differently on Server

Hi.

I am baffled. I've got a variable that works fine on my desktop and on a staging server, but once on the production access point, the variable comes up null (using the same data and filters.

The variable's name is vQBRFYstartMonthDate, as is defined as:

=Addmonths(IF($(vQBRFYstartMonth)=1,

NUM(makedate($(vQBRDYselectedYear),$(vQBRFYstartMonth)+11)),

NUM(makedate($(vQBRDYselectedYear),$(vQBRFYstartMonth)-1))),-11)

This returns a date.

On the server, the variable fails, but the funtion works find. Yet on my local file and on a staging server, the variable works fine.

What give? I hope I am not overloking something silly...

Woa. Got the file from the server and opened it on my desktop. The issue is no longer present.

But it is still present on the server.

What does this say?

Just checking if there´s some difference at data level.

What are the version of your Desktop and  your server?

The production server has more data from a wider time period. But I am selecting a time period which has equivalent data.

Server = 11.20.11726.0 SR1 64bit

Client = 11.20.11718.0 SR1 64bit

I don’t control that. The IT team dictates which versions we need to use, in concordance with the server environment.

Response from our admins:

These are document level settings and would remain the same in all the landscapes as long as it is the same document.

Also, date-time format for all the servers are the same. The only difference is the production server are east coast while all others are west coast based. But this should not be a problem.

I dont see any other reason.

Do you have a QlikTech support contact? Maybe it´s time to involving them.
