Virtual Folder / Mount folder across System

Dear Community,

I want to mount a folder from another computer in my qv servers root folder, is it possible? If yes then how to do it.

First computer is 192.168.0.7 and second computer is 192.168.0.11 ( say ).

If QV Server is on first computer, can we mount a folder in second computer. There is no QV server in second computer.

from windows os we can access as \\192.168.0.11$d but how to give this in qlikview.

Hi,

Please go to the QMC/QEMC in the QlikView server -->Go to the folders---->Clik on the Browable-----> You will find all the servers which are connected to this local server---->You can select your server and choose your desired folder.

Regards,

Ravi

Hi,

Yes it works, but it is more likely to fail as there are two servers and (unpredictable) network in between.

note that the service-account needs admin privileges on that server/folder
