While I agree with Peter's comments, if you absolutely must send the file, check the compression with which it was saved. Check the compression setting on Document properties | General. If it is "None", you may be able to reduce the document size significantly by changing to "High" and re-saving the document.

A QVW is alrteady zipped internally so zipping a QVW may have little effect. I would consider using dropbox, onedrive or a similar service to share your file.

Hi,

try to not loading data. It means let script as is but put "Exit script" statement at the very beginning of your script. App will not have any data and it will be smaller. Than recepient can remove "Exit script" statement and reload all data.

Hope it helps

Maybe you first want to explain why you want to email a QVW (that includes all data)?

There are other means of distribution for the information in a BI document:

  • Let the publisher distribute to a remote location
  • Provide access to an AccessPoint in the cloud
  • Extract relevant objects into email/excel/word documents (using NPrinting)
  • Use macros and some intelligent scheduling to export information into other formats

Only the last two forms of distribution can be done without needing corresponding CALs.for consulting the resulting output
