Where to give permissions : Could not connect to the QlikView Command Center service.Make sure it is started and reachable @ http://localhost:4780/qtcc.asmx

Hi All

I installed Qlikview 9 server , removing Qlikview 8.5. When i try to open qlikview reports through our application(.aspx) then it show me "failed to open document - you donot have access rights".

To change the permissions i have gone to iis but found that qlikview web server is installed separately.

To change the permissions, i have gone to Qlikview -> Qlikview Enterprise Management Console.

In the system tab, it's showing command center service disconnected and showing cc@localhost as disconnected.

Macafee is installed , we have tried using unblocking teh port also . but this also didn't help. Is thi sthe right place to change the permissions to virtual directories. Any idea how to connect to command center.

Thanks

Preena

Hi

I have exactly the same messages and I tried following to get rid of it:
- update from build 7320
- uninstall older build
- uninstall older build and delete all QV directories in "All Users" and "Program files"

Thanks

Preena, we had exactly the same issue : upgraded from 8.5 SR5 to 9.0 SR3 and found the command center disconnected with a message of "Failed to connect to Command Center"

Karol Dorniak's post helped us solve the issue in 9.0 SR3.
