Hi All,
I faced a question today. Could you please help in answering?
Which server does not support Section Access and WHY?
a. Small Edition Servers
b. Large Edition Servers
c. Enterprise Edition Servers
d. QlikView Extranet Server
Which would be valid option among these and WHY?
Regards!
HI,
a. Small Edition Servers
It only supports Windows Active Directory to handle security and access control.
Thanks

b
if Large Edition Servers is Internet Access Server
in IAS Anonymous User is mandatory, section access is not supported
QLIKVIEW INFORMATION ACCESS SERVER (IAS)
QlikView IAS is a QlikView Server that is licensed for an uncapped number of users, but limited to a single QlikView application. QlikView IAS runs in anonymous mode and must be publically accessible without authentication (on the public Internet), that is, it must not be placed behind a firewall. No QlikView client can access QlikView IAS — the user interface must be built by the end user either manually or by using QlikView WorkBench.
I don'ttkink SBE as I used section access with some SBE
Hi
sorry..the ans is b.
SBE can have section access as it can have
Limited to 25 Named User CALs
Limited to 100 Document CALs
Thanks
Hi,
If you check the server reference manual you will see IAS is the only one that doesn't support section access.
