I've got an application published on a QVS which I want to update and distribute with a new name, however user-specific objects and bookmarks should be retained. The qvw will be renamed in the "Reduce" registry (-> %NewApplicationName%).
In the forum I've read that it should suffice to rename the .shared, .meta and .pgo files. However, the new application has some new functions, i.e. the files differ with respect to both features on the surface and the data model. Does anyone know if there is a save way to save user bookmarks / objects on the server? Is renaming the above stated file types the right way to do it?
Any experience from your side would help me. Thank you very much!
