documentCAL overview??

I'm looking for a way to get insight immediately in where the document CAL's are configured.

At this moment I need to walk through all my qvw's to see if there are document CAL's configured . . . this is a really time-consuming process . . .

Anyone has a solution for this?? It would really be a big help if we have one overview with who has document call's in the qvw's . . .

rgrds,

Anita

If you're running QV10 you should look into the recently introduced Power Tools, you would be able to get all assigned licenses by running an exe file.

I didn't know of those power tools . . . thx.

Only problem here is that I'm not the superadmin on the server . . . so I can't really use the tools . . .

You could use a scheduled QVW to call the .exe file and then read the CSV it produces.

I scheduled a QVW to execute this file, but still got no access

Authorization failed for user xxxx\administrator  -    required access level is QlikViewManagementAPI

Don't think I can ever execute this thing . . . but thx anyway
