how to troubleshoot the qv loading error logs in task sched

hi all

this will be a relatively general question but in qv 9 task loader.. when a load fails there was a folder and you can kinda get details in the logs somewhere under the qv windows folder.

but in qv 11.. i see the log in the task sched but it doesnt really say anythign or why it failed..

is there any docs or logs for qv 11 on how to troubleshoot load errors

any help would be great

Hi,

why, in the same directory where you have your qvw files, there is also one ending on .log that contains the detailed app_log - for those apps where you have turned on the logging in the document_properties.

Hi,

You will find the task logs and document logs (if enable) under C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\Log

under that you will see folders with that are named with dates. Under these you will find the folder with the task name and the logs.

Hi,

The Task log will only be under that folder, but the Document log will be there and in the directory where the source document is.
