mail with bookmark always redirecting to the access point

Hi,

i was trying to use the 'Mail with bookmark option' from the IE plug in, it is generating a bookmark automatically in outlook however when i try to access the link it is always redirecting me to the access point and not the document (with bookmark filters).

Hi Malek,

do you have https setup by chance? The url is generating as http, so potentially something to do with that and kicking you out to access point

yes the application is accessed as https. what should be done in this case?

Well test it first off, try adding the 's' to the auto generated url string and seeing what happens there first, just to confirm that is the issue

i have tried it with https and it worked, so how can i now modify the link to send it directly with https instead of http?

that's good the issue is found then! I'm not sure I'll be honest on how to get it to change, there might be a change needed on the QMC to get this to work.

Is the 'use https' option ticked under the Web server general tab?

it is ticked however if you check the URL it is not using https. maybe i should try modifying it manually after working hours and do this test.

Yea give that a go, like I say I'm really not sure on this one but makes sense that url would need to change also. let me know how it goes!
