We are building our new prod enviorment. The current box has both qlik server and publisher. the new enviomrnet will have qlik server on one box and publisher on another.
for the current, in the qmc, system->setup-> qlikview servers, we can see tabs: general, folders, documents, etc....
we can always mount a new folder when needed.
However, in the new enviroment, since the QDS is disabled, we can't really see all the tabs especially folders tab.
How do we configure so that the folders tab and other tabs are available to me, do i configure that on the second server(publisher)?

this is resolved becasue of the qds stopped working. After I restarted the services, the tabs are back.

you can add the same via remote management service.
Not sure I understand what you are asking. If you don't license the Distribution Service there will be tabs missing. Can up attach some images showing what you are asking?
