hi ,
i have a 2008 sever (its a virtual machine)
the machine has qv8 sever which i uninlstalled.
i installed qv sever 9
the machine doesnt have iis on it (i dont want it)
i only need scheduling reload and an access for users to do manualy reloads sometime...
but i still get an error when i open the management console.
i did restart, i did logout , reinstall and install again...
please help

QV9 create a new authorization group and makes user assignments.
I would recommend to reboot your server and try.
I hope this works, otherwise please provide feeback here so we can try next steps.

well , i reboot the server and all services are up.
maybe it can help , but that machine previously had qv8 server and a publisher 8
(the publisher never worked beacause of no iis was available to install).
the install of 9 removed the server but not the publisher so i uninstalled it manualy...

Next, I would try uninstalling everything QV related, Delete QV authorizationg group, run untility and remove everything you see QV related, rebbot system, install QV9 from scratch, rebbot system, try management console.
Something it is easier to redo the install than spending time to fix it.
