problem while DMS authentication is enabled

while the DMS authentication is enabled on the server , QlikView controls file access and somehow the earlier documents on not visible through the AccessPoint.

The earlier authentication type was NTFS in which Windows controls qvw file access and hence all qvw files were viewable thru the AccessPoint.

please let me know how will overcome this

hi,

In DMs Authorisation you need to maually add the USERNAME to the QV Files.

IN the Second tab of QMC you will find a tab called as authorisation. add the USer name and it will be visible for that user.

or

in QEMC in the second tab, click on a QLikview file and you will see the Authorization tab. Ad the user.

i want to know the mechanism for calling qv server url from jboss url.

(we want to call qv server url from dashboard of our product) .

Do you want to point to QLikview server from other application.?

Just provide the link of qv server from the application

Fro eg html u can it do it as follows

our application running on jboss server .from this jboss server we want to talk with jboss server of qlikview to display qv file in the dashboard.

Provide the URL link of the application. When you open a qlikview over IE, you find a link

http:\\ipaddress\Ajax\Applicationname.qvw..... client=plugin.

provide this link with IE as application.
