I am running a task to reload an application and it is showing a warning. When I go to "Show Task Details" then "Log" I am not seeing anything. This shows up for other jobs, but not this one. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
If you navigate to the task log itself, does it exist? If not, likely your task was never started.
Default: C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\Log\<today's date>\
I have the same problem,
I can see the drop-down selection reporting all the executions, but when i select one execution I can't see the log.
In C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\Log\<today's date>\ i see all the logs..
I tried to reload Qv services but i still have the same problem.
Exactly the same problem. The log folder is correct and logs are there but I can not see the task details in QMC after choose the running history.
I had a similar problem and am able to resolve it. Basically the QDS folder is corrupt or has some access issues. You need to
1. Stop QMS and QDS Services
2. Rename QDS folder to QDS_OLD
3. Restart QDS and QMS Services
This should fix the issue. If not, you might also want to restart the server as a Step 4. But Step 2 is the Key. The QDS folder gets regenerated after Services started.
