"No server" error in Access Point

Hi everyone,

This afternoon, when I log on Access Point, there is a red banner with the message "No server"..

I tried to restart all services but it didn't solve my problem.

In the event viewer of my Qlikview server, there have been a lot of errors this afternoon :

The first one :

Failed to start Snmp listener. System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): A blocking operation was interrupted by a call to WSACancelBlockingCall

   at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.ReceiveFrom(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 size, SocketFlags socketFlags, EndPoint& remoteEP)

   at System.Net.Sockets.UdpClient.Receive(IPEndPoint& remoteEP)

   at SNMP.SnmpAgent.Receive(IPEndPoint& io_RemoteEP)

   at SNMP.SnmpService.Main()

and after :

System.Exception: Failed to retrieve document list from the specified QVS

   at QMSBackendCore.Service.ServiceImpl.GetUserDocumentList(Guid qvsID)

   at QMSBackendCore.Service.ServiceImpl.Diagnostics.CacheDocumentAvailable()

What does that mean ? What can I do ?

This is really annoying...

Thank you for your help

Hi Clever,

Finally, I was able to solve the problem by restarting the server and then restarting the QV Services.

No, nothing has changed. I did contact the support, hopefully I will understand what happened.

I would check

  1. Your licenses are still valid?
  2. Any firewall rule was changed?
  3. Any Windows updated was applied?

Anyway, as it seems to be a production server, you should contact QV Support
