uninstall QV 9 original and install QV 9 SR 2

After reinstalling QV 9 SR 2,I am receiving an error in the QMC when trying to access the root folder page. The error states: "Invalid Request: Exception has been thrown by the target of the invocation.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

someone with the same problem started the thread http://community.qlik.com/forums/t/16792.aspx and were given the answer :

That Http error indicates that there is another process using the port that the service is trying to listen on.

Use netstat to establish what service is the culprit.

is there more information in the logs ? are the qlikview services correctly running ?

the log states:

1/6/2010 09:36:47.5364281 Error Failed to start webserver on port 4780. Exception : System.Net.HttpListenerException: Access is denied
at System.Net.HttpListener.AddAll()
at System.Net.HttpListener.Start()

The qlikview services are not running correctly.
