web page

hi,

I am new in qlikView and trying to publish a simple web application.

I use tools->object clients page generator to generate the html files and move them to my Apache folder.

but get en error of

"Qva is not defined

http://localhost/default.htm"

I'd be glad to hear any solutions

What version of QVS are you using? Based on your error, it sounds like you may not be using QVS at all, and just trying to host pages generated by QlikView Desktop. This won't work since the files that are generated by Client Page Generator require linking to files hosted by a valid QVS. If you are in fact using QVS, let me know and I'll be glad to help you troubleshoot the issue more.

after trying to solve the problem about 3 hours, i learned that personal edition does not have that feature 🙂 time to get a licence...

thanks anyway...

That's true, but keep in mind what I mentioned above: even the licensed version of QV Desktop won't be enough. To host AJAX files, you will need a QVS license.
