Find My Files.zip

Do you use the generic search engine on your OS to find the document you are looking for?  Have you had any luck finding it within one minute?  Well, I haven’t.  So I decided to go back to the old fashion way.  QlikView way.  The associative way.

Specify the directory and file extensions and reload the application.  You will be able to see all of your files in your hard disk, and find the file you need using QlikView associative logic.  It's that simple.

It also helps you identifying which folders or files are occuping a lot of spaces on your disk.  It'll give you a clue on which files to delete if you are running out of disk space.

See my blog on QlikView Design Blog for the background of this app.

Great!  Thank you.  I just uploaded a new version which I enabled the multi-directory entries as well as loading images.  If you do not need to read in the images, just comment out the last tab in the script.
