One more difference:

In Ajax client you can use Document and Object extensions and in IE pluging they are not available.

Admittedly many extensions exists only to overcome deficiencies of Ajax client comparing to plugin - (resize screen to fit can be put in that category I believe). But other extensions bring some new features, not available in Desktop or Plugin.

Take as example dropdown menu extension that make possible to have hierarchycal menu of instead of flat array of Sheets.

Hi jagan,

I have a macro which exports sheet objects as Image and data into a excel file, when I use this in my local machine it is working fine , but when I use it from access point , it is not working. I came to know this can be achieved from IE plugin, if so , How to know which plugin I am using now in the server and how to change it to IE plugin.

Thanks

Kiran Kumar
