Hi we are running .net 4.0 is that too recent for it to work?
Do you know if there is some other way to quickly add multiple users and assign CAL?
Thanks
Frameworks run independently, especially that far back. If the target code is 2.0, you need 2.0, or compatible. 4.0 is not. Frameworks can co-exists though.
Ok thanks for your assistance.
Hi,
I am trying to run Shared File Repair tool 1.2 on QVS Server 11.2 SR13. I am getting the following message for the QlikView Server - Could not find QlikView Server SR4 (11.20.12235)! Please locate it manually.
When I try to select the QVS.exe path, I see the following error message:
Please suggest me the next steps.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Does the repair tool only works with SR4?

Gino
We have 2 clusters that share a management console. We would like the ability to run qv-user-manager -- remove cal separately on a cluster of our choosing.
Is this possible? How can we specify the cluster either via the command or the script?
Thanks,
Steve
Will PT work on QV12 ?
Hello Stefan
We've been using SharedFileViewer to deal with the export of user bookmarks and do updates to them when changes in the application require it.
However, we noticed that not all information regarding pivot tables is there.
When a BM with layout state is created on desktop app, the columns position in a pivot table are stored. Same happens when storing the BM on the access point; pivot layout, with the right dimensions and columns, is restored.
Looking at the xml file exported from QV desktop, under node "ExtendedLayoutBookmarkData" there is a node called "ExtendedPivotState" where that information is stored.
However, when exporting data from shared file the node "ExtendedPivotState" doesn't exist. This causes that pivot columns state get lost when we import the BM again.
Do you know if there is any limitation to extract that information from shared file?
Best regards,
Cristian

Hi Stefan.
Is it at all possible to use qv-user-manager.exe to upload a list of users to the recipients of a source documents reload task (distribution section)?
My team is moving over to using a new Publisher for the first time and it would help enormously if we could upload to the source document all existing users so that the distributed user document has the same access in place.
We are familiar with using the qv-user-manager to create lists of authorised users and document cal assignments from our QlikView Servers, and for uploading similar lists back again.
Kind regards .... Rob
Any advice for Qlik 12?
