On the QlikView Server Object Handler (V2.1.0.0),I am not receiving a document list back. Log shows "No Nodes! cannot render list"
How do I resolve this error?
Thanks for your help
We've added this to our bug log. Unfortunately, there is no date set for fixing it yet.
mgdpuro1; Well, it's more a prototype monitor than anything else, and needs to be be running in someone's context to work today. You could experiment with FireDaemon (www.firedaemon.com) to run the app as a service, but I haven't verified if this works at this point.
Hello Stefan,
we have scheduled a batch file calling "qv user manager" to delete the cals older than 30 days. The batch file is running successfully but the cleanup is not being done. The error I see in the logs is as below
"The remote server returned an unexpected reponse: (413) Request Entity Too Large."
we have 2 clustered QVS servers let's say Cluster 1 and Cluster 2 and each cluster is having 7 servers.
Please let me know how do I resolve it and you need more information.
Thanks
Chandra
HI Stephan
All i want to get is an email alert from QlikView server saying your "Web service" or "distribution Service" is down. Is it possible via Super server agent.
How do you configure to do so.
Question is. Can super agent run from the same server as QlikView or it needs to reside in another space.
Chandra, this error message is most likely from the API sub system, which is out of our control. I'm suspecting that it might be that the call you're trying to do is resulting in too many records to delete, which in turns makes the request size too big and thus being cancelled by the underlying communication framework.
I'll try and take a look at the code tomorrow, to see if I find something obvious. If you want to investigate yourself, you can find the source code for this tool on braathen/qv-user-manager · GitHub.
Sorry for the inconvinience.
Thanks Stefan.
I will try to understand and investigate from below source code.
Please look into when you get time and let me know your findings.
Thanks
Chandra

Hi Stefan
I'am using Server Object Handler to change ownership and it's works, except object's position on the sheets, is missing on all the user owned object.
Is this a limitation in the program or is it a bug.
br
Martin
Hi Martin,
This is a limitation in QlikView, since it cannot "guess" where to place a sheet object from another user, since the new user does not likely have the same sheets to put the objects on. I hope that makes sense.
