For some reason ServerObjectHandler is not listing any QVW after connecting to the server. Run this on the QVS server itself logged in as the proID that runs QVS service and has full admin privileges on the server. On some servers it will list just a few QVWs, on most - nothing.

DOes somebody know what could be the problem?

The servers are on QV12.10 SR7

Thank you,

I cannot replicate this on 12.10 SR7 with Power Tools 1.3.2.

Could it be long loading times? Any error(s) in the console (check the bottom right button)?

When there are "Only a few documents", could that be because of auth restrictions on the account?

Hello Stefan,

Any updates around the "QvServerObjectConnector" compatibility with QlikView 12.20?

I am able to use this connector with 12.20 when I run the QVW via QV Desktop, but it fails identifying the connector when I run the exact same QVW via a scheduled task in QMC.

Any feedback will be very helpful.

Thanks,

Sokol

Hi, Where can I download Power Tools? I searched the download site but could not find it.

Also: I see a lot of these errors in the server logs:

Shared: FileRead - Error reading shared objects, StopLoadingWhenSharedFileIsCorrupt: 0, Document: \\SERVER\QV_SHARED\QLIKVIEW\ACCESSPOINT\DOC.QVW.Shared

It looks like the Shared file editor does not yet support 12.20.20500.0 What are my options for dealing with these errors?

Thanks @Anonymous!

Do you have any estimates on when this problem could be fixed? I'm trying to plan my next steps in a customer case and considering if I should wait on the Power Tool to be available before proceeding.

Hi,

I have now got the new version of the Power Tool, but how do I repair a corrupt shared file on a QV 12.2 server?

When I open the "Shared File Repair" tool, I got a message saying "This version of Qlikview server does not have the functionality to repair .shared files! Required 11.20.12235".

How do I then get it repaired?

I've added a link to a download folder with all the versions from 1.1 to 1.3.2 above. They are linked from all the release pages of Power Tools. Sorry for the inconvenience. We can't seem to get the community platform vendor team to fix the issue with the flagged zip file.

Anyways;
