When running the script in the example I ran into an issue where the script failed to complete with the following message.

xml error.JPG

It looks like it cannot get the information from the url.

Any clue why is this happening?

My friend,

Make sure the field names are correct.

The field names are correct.

As can be seen in the error message above it is not filed names issue but the error message says:

"Unknown error in MSXML".

It looks like it is either unable to connect to google API or unable map the location from the data.

Any clue?

Hi

I think the statement is right because there another statement after that, which is

next, so i assume you need this [ ; ], otherwise the script does not even run and it also shows incorrect statement (color does not turn to green)

and this is exactly based on the example that I took from initial document

Data:

  LOAD

  '$(a)' as FirstName,

  '$(b)' as LastName,

  '$(c)' as ProductSold,

  '$(address)' as Address,

    [result/geometry/location/lat] as latitude,

    [result/geometry/location/lng] as longitude,

    %Key_GeocodeResponse_62C7A0A69859D655

FROM [http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/xml?address=$(address)&sensor=false] (XmlSimple, Table is [GeocodeResponse]);

next
