Hi Shankar, Thank u for posting. Is it possible to do the same in qlik sense? If so can you please help me to achieve the same .
I havent started learning qlik sense. But You may refer Google map in qliksense documentation with video tutorial here Using the Maps Chart Object - Points Maps - Part 1 - (video)
Thanks for sharing this.
When running the script in the example I ran into an issue where the script failed to complete with the following message.
It looks like it cannot get the information from the url.
Any clue why is this happening?
My friend,Make sure the field names are correct.
The field names are correct.
As can be seen in the error message above it is not filed names issue but the error message says:
"Unknown error in MSXML".
It looks like it is either unable to connect to google API or unable map the location from the data.
Friend you looked up there [ ; ] at the end of the FROM ?
I think the statement is right because there another statement after that, which is
next, so i assume you need this [ ; ], otherwise the script does not even run and it also shows incorrect statement (color does not turn to green)
and this is exactly based on the example that I took from initial document
'$(a)' as FirstName,
'$(b)' as LastName,
'$(c)' as ProductSold,
'$(address)' as Address,
[result/geometry/location/lat] as latitude,
[result/geometry/location/lng] as longitude,
FROM [http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/xml?address=$(address)&sensor=false] (XmlSimple, Table is [GeocodeResponse]);
Try this path friend .
I have created a map using the above steps. Now i have filters in inputbox that provides the range of postcodes. I want the map to be zoomed up as per the postcode range.
please help me out
