The attached example shows how to build a nested set based on a hierarchical data structure and its visualization on a scatter chart.

Hi John,

I think you are struggling with multiple selections, the example wasn't made for.

I've updated tree_selections.qvw, which should take this into account. Please give it a try and see, if it fits your needs.

Happy New Year Sven!

I would like to share one possible minor optimization in the load script.  It seems that the following statement may be redundant as the TMP table already includes the layerrank field:

inner join(TMP) load id,layerrank resident TMP;

I did remove this and it didn't seem to have any perceivable impact to the charts.

Best Regards

Hi qlikqool,

happy new year, too and you're right. This line seems to be a "development zombie".

Thank you for sharing and best regards

Sven,

Works for me in qv11.2 SR7

In SR10 all the charts say "Drawing of chart failed internally".

Hi Mike,

seems that Qlikview has introduced a new "feature".

You can disable the 3rd expression, which controls the size of the bubbles and the drawing comes back to life.

Best regards

Sven

Hi,

Upon downloading, adding to the correct directory, and opening Qlik Sense Desktop, all of these apps are blank? The underlying data still exists, but there are no sheets by default.

Any ideas why this is?
