Using QlikView’s Report Editor

Need to add a printable report to your QlikView document?  Use QlikView's Report Editor to create a report that users can print and take with them.  Check out this technical brief for details on how to do this as well as this blog on the topic.

Is there a way to have container objects on Reports? I often have my objects in container where I size them so that it looks fine on the Qlik View Sheet but it seems like it´s not possible to just add the container including content or do I miss something?

Hi Carolin:

You can put one container on your report ... but it will only show the active TAB in the runtime moment

I know it's a bad answer, but QV works on this way.

Hi Joaquin,

OK thank you. I unfortunaly have a grid in the container and it´s shown empty. But it´s just a question of a nicer layout so it´s fine for now

Hi:

You can copy de chart to a hidden sheet and then create a new object (with a trellis) and paste to the report

Hope it helps

Hello @Jennell_McIntire

I have a strange phenomenon:

If users create the QlikView Report in Internet Explorer (AJAX) the reports is OK. If users create QlikView Report is Google Chrome the font becomes 'bold'.

Do you have an idea which setting(s) I have to change in this topic?

Best regards, Patrick
