Garbage after expression: 'AS'

Hi All,

Cannot see what is wrong with this code. I am trying to create a new dimension.

=If([Policy Holder Age] < 60,

   '< 60',

   If([Policy Holder Age] >= 60,

   '>= 60')) AS ph_age_bands

Any info would be great.

Re: Garbage after expression: 'AS'

If you're creating a master item then only use the expression. Don't use 'as ...' to give the dimension a name. You do that elsewhere in the dialog window.

Where are you trying to create that dimension? If it's in the script then it shouldn't start with an = character.

Re: Garbage after expression: 'AS'

Hi Gysbert, I am trying to create a new dimension in master items. I have a data set with customer ages as a variable. I am looking to create a grouping of those 60 years of age and above and those 60 years of age and below. I will then be looking to add this new variable into my filter pane.
