Geo analysis

Hello,

My goal is to make
run an analysis in QlikView of stores' locations in order to help with the relocation of these stores. In fact, I need to show on the map a city in which the store is located and cities of buyers of this store, the distance between those cities, number of
buyers.

What geo extensions would you recommend for QlikView 11?

Thanks !

Hi. Our free "qlikmap" is your first bet here. It is part of QV11.2 SR5 package (if you have this release, check this folder on your harddisk: C:\Users\CSW\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects\qlikmap; if not get it from here https://github.com/brianwmunz/QuickMap-QV11 )

Prerequisite is that you have latitude/longitude for your stores or you have to get them querying some webservices like Yahoo ...

Hi,

have a look at http://www.npgeomap.com - a simple to use but very powerful and fast geo-extension for QlikView, which can handle large datasets.

Best regards

Hi,

Spectrum Spatial for QlikView is another option. http://market.qlik.com/spectrum-spatial-for-qlikview.html. The Spectrum platform connects to a number of BI Solutions in case you need to support more than just one BI environment. A 15 minutes demo from the insurance sector can be viewed here: https://secure.vidyard.com/share/MazYZjNQyqvdPEh10tA_vQ. It provides a good overview about the capabilities.

In addition to the support of multiple BI Systems, the Spectrum platform provides modules for data integration, data quality and data enrichment (e.g. geocoding) as well as global data sets to insure you don't run into compliance issues.

Kind regards,
