Connection lost with IE8/IE9

Hello,

we are using Qlikview version 11.0.11.440.0 via IE8. Some users are loosing there connection after 2-3minutes.

So they have to login again. We also tryed it with the IE9. Same thing.

If they use the mozilla firefox 28.0 there are no connection problems.

These users are connected on a second company location via VPN.

But there are also users on a third company location also connected via VPN without any problems.

They are using different firewall models, but both are from watchguard.

Any ideas?

Hi.

Have you tried IE compatibility mode (F12) ?

F12 are the developer tools. I'll try out the compatibility mode. Thanks

Hi.

With F12 you can choose the Compatibility mode.

You can also turn on Compatibility mode by default for all access point documents.

Modify the opendoc.htm with the X-UA-Compatible tag:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7"/>

Hi ,

Sometimes if 2 users are using same credential and trying to access the reports through IE plugin then it gives the error 'Connection Lost'.

Make sure that at a time only single user is using 1 credential.
