Read (csv) file in qlik sense extension

I'm trying to make my extension to read local excel file everytime the Qlik Sense App is loaded because the local excel file can be dynamically changed by time.

I saw the discussion that it's impossible in QlikView(Read/Write to file)

Is it possible in Sense? then how?
