Can I drop formatting of background when pivot table is expanded?

I have the a pivot table that has a formula which will determine what color the background should be based on the the results of the financial center. That works great. But when the pivot table is drilled down further the same formula wouldn't apply. Is it possible to only have the coloring applied when the Employee level is not expanded? (I have accomplished teh coloring by adding a formula to teh background of teh expression.)

That should be possible. You have an expression to calculate the background colors. Now you have to change that a bit so it takes into account the dimensionality level of the cell: If(Dimensionality()=1, ...color_expression... )
