Can someone please explain how can the end user perform sorting on the Pivot table columns on the QlikView Accesspoint.

I know for straight table it is by double clicking on the column name with the Interactive sort option checked. but how to do it in pivot.

Hi Jagveer,

That option is not available for pivot tables in Qlikview. A pivot table will always maintain the groups of its dimensions.

You can try to achieve this using macros; however you may want to consider using a straight table instead or have the sorting done on the actual chart (not interactive/dynamic). What is the reason you are using a pivot table -- is it to get a horizontal dimension (such as for putting it in date buckets), or is it to have different dimension groupings?
