Close button to close Open Text box

Hi all,

I successfully able to create conditional show of Text box which more looks like a popup based on click of button but i want to add a close button to the text box so that when i click on close the text box should disappear(Hidden) .

Please help me to fix this issue.

Thanks

The answer depends on the condition that you used for the conditional show of the text box. The "Close" button should make that condition false.

For example, it's typical to use variables in Show/Hide expressions. In this case, your Close button should set the variable to 0.

This is only one of many visualization techniques that I describe in detail in my new book "QlikView Your Business".

Hi,

Add a close button with Action set the variable to 0 (for the variable which you are using to show the Text object).  This will hide the text object.  To hide the Close button use the same variable in the

Layout -> Show Conditional option of the close button.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,

Jagan.
