Darker Shading for Chart Style

I have a chart and under the Style tab, I selected 'Light' as the 'Current Style' and entered '1' for 'Rows'.  I can see every other row is darken but the background color is so faint. The shading is so close to being white.   Is there a way to increase the darkness of the styling?

I've seen that discussion before and I've tried it.  Unfortunately, there were some instances where the background would be darken on two consecutive rows.

Is there an xml file that I can open up and change the settings?

When I use my other laptop at home and create a chart in Qlikview, I don't have this problem.  There must be a custom setting.

Is it possible for you to share an example of where it doesn't work?

I'm not aware of an xml file you can edit, so I can't help you on that front. Sorry.
