Date selections shows data issues

If there are no selections, my line graph (Expression count(Distinct FIRING_RECORD)  looks good:

However, if I filter down to 2019, it looks like there are some significant data gaps. I've been going around in circles and can't figure out what is going on. Any ideas?

I would expect either a data model related issue or something related to AGGR being needed as the two most likely culprits, so unless you can attach a sample QVW with the issue, not sure anyone is going to be able to offer much further help.  The best I could do is point you to the Design Blog area to dig around there to see if you can find some posts that will help you sort out what is missing.
