Excel Export Format Issue

Hi,

How can i retain the same format while exporting to excel ? {Months{dimension} are in vertical rows in excel wheras in qlikview its horizontal column)

This is my qlikview report.

I am trying to export the same in excel.But the format is changed in excel as below:

Hi Poornima,

In Excel you will get the same format as you have specified in Chart.

You have to change the Dimensions and Expression in Chart to get the desired output.

You can try transpose  in excel like in screenshot below. Copy the content->Special Paste-> Transpose

we dont have any options in qlikview ?

i dont want to change the format in excel

While you are exporting from a qv object to excel, it takes the qv object format. Therefore if you choose to do it in qv, you have to create a chart of similar format and export from there. Otherwise, you might try to achieve the same using a more complex option, macro.
