is there a way to know if a dimension is expanded or not in a pivot table with 2 or more dimensions (indent style)?
Personally I find the + & - signs, top right of the dimension value, more than sufficient.

I mean as a condition in an expression
The dimensionality() function should be what you're looking for. For the first dimension, it should return 1, when its expanded to the second dimension, the value will turn to 2, and so on.
Hope this helps!
You can use Dimensionality function in an expression
In point of fact I want to resolve this problem Hide row in pivot table, so I'm trying different ways.
