Format numbers and 'Value on Data Points'

Hi all,

I'm building a bar chart where I need to show the values of the bars ('Value on Data Points' option). I've formatted the numbers in this way.

The axes label changes depending on the unit, but the values don't change.

Does anybody knows how to control the format on these numbers?

Thanks, Ferran

The problem is due to fake values for dimension and expression, the chart doesn't know how to split data.

Each expression is splitted into any dimension you add, so the scale depends on this.

To format numbers go in numbers tab and set the expression with needed format.

The scale as said depends on dimension.

I add a calculated dimension =0 and an expression =0.

What is the problem with that document?

Why have you introduced dim and exp = 0?

Thanks Alessandro!

As you said, I initially thought that I can manage the number format using the 'Value on Data Points' option. But I discovered a trick to do it in a bar chart with one dimension and one expression. The app is just an example to show that with one dimension and one expression QlikView auto-format the numbers in the bar chart, but I can't do it with a multi-expression barchart.

I don't know why I introduce exp = 0, but it works.

Thanks Sunil,

The result is the same 😞 In my Script the decimal and thousand separators was different because of the language configuration.
