Formatting the Pivot/Straight table while exporting to excel

   Hi,

I have below questions while exporting the Pivot/Straight table to excel .

        1) While exporting the table to excel by default Qlik View assigns a name(QvsViewClient.aspx) to excel. can we replace this name with any other name i.e. with straight/Pivot table name it self

        2) While exporting the Qlik View Pivot table to excel the dimensions displayed in Bold and the expressions will be displayed in normal font.so i want to make all the fields  consistent format

        3) In excel the selected filters will also be displying below the table, I want to get rid of these selections in excel. PFA the excel screen shot for the same.

Hi

For your point 3 - the filter display is controlled from you User Preferences  | Export tab. Uncheck the "On BIFF Exports" and "On HTML Exports" options under "Selection Stamps in Exports".

Hi Jonathan,

After Unchecking the options On BIFF Exports" and "On HTML Exports" options under "Selection Stamps in Exports", still am getting my filter selections in Excel.

Play around with the attached, which runs a vbscript macro on button click.  Once you click the button, input a tile name, such as "TestFile", and the macro will export to local C:\ drive with name TextFile.xls
