Graph trendline

Hi - I'm new to Qlickview and got stuck on X Axis - I have data spanning from 2012/10 to 2013/04. When I select the year i.e. 2012 and 2103, the  'Month' display on the X Axis display  2013 Jan - April first, then 2012 Oct - Nov.

Any suggestions Please.

Regards

Fanie

Re: Graph trendline

On the Axis tab, there is a section called Dimension Axis.  Click the font button.

Re: Graph trendline

Are you using 2 dimensions, Month and Year or 1 dimension MonthYear?

Re: Graph trendline

I use year and month. Date formant yyy-mm-dd. I promoted year above month - does not make a difference.

Re: Graph trendline

Try making a MonthYear field instead of using Month and Year.  In the script it would look like

Date(MonthStart(Date), 'MMMYYYY') as MonthYear

Where the bolded and underlined DATE is where you put your date field.  If you could attach an example of your QVW that would be helpful.  If you put Month above year it should list the months on the bottom and a unique line for each year.
