Grid Chart, use of "Only Lines" or "Both Lines and Symbols"

simple question:

for a gridchart,

is there any way to make the "Only Lines" or "Both Lines and Symbols" presentation work?

My guess would be, the feature isn't working at all.

If I'm wrong, there should be a working example.
