How to identify all tables and fields used in a particular sheet?

Hi all,

I have taken over a complex QVW from another developer and would like to find an easy way to document all sheets, all tables within the sheets, and all fields within these tables. Every sheet has many charts and tables, some hidden. What is the best tool or way for me to document all of this?

Thank you,

Chris

You can export some data files from the app and process them with Qlikview. Specifically, in Settings, Document Properties:

-General pane, Memory Stats button

Sheet pane & Tables pane, Export Structure button.

You may also want to try DocumentAnalyzer available from my website:

While not originally designed as an overview tool, Doc Analyzer has evolved to provide a decent overview of your document.
